Dofygate provides a simple, cost effective way to control vehicle movements or improve safety for pedestrians around a site.
The remote controlled solar powered gate is entirely self-contained with no wires to or between the gate posts. Normally working in pairs covering up to 6m. Vehicle access within or into a property can be easily controlled using our own opening options or can be linked into an existing hard wired system.
Opens or closes in just 3.5 seconds so does not interfere with normal operations. Dofygate can be operated from a vehicle using a fob, phone or keypad to restrict entry or operated by a third party such as a shovel driver to control access into his/her working area. A further option is controlling public/pedestrian access into potentially dangerous areas such as where heavy plant may be working.
An alternative version is the gate acting as a safe crossing barrier where control is exercised by the pedestrian. The Dofygate is normally open instead of normally closed and the pedestrian wishing to cross an internal road where heavy plant may be crossing operates the barrier which closes. Infra-red beams then look to see if the crossing is complete and the barrier opens.
We can fit or the gate can be self-installed. Just screw the self-contained gate unit to a post and it works straight away. The carbon fibre bars are strong and a built in clutch means accidental contact will not destroy the gate. Extra bars are fitted to the standard 2 bar setup for increased visibility and a more complete barrier with a conventional gate look.
