As the UK's leading health and safety event, with the latest products and services being launched and showcased plus a new emphasis on the holistic aspects of health and wellbeing for the profession, all press are welcome to attend Safety & Health Expo.
Here’s a list of questions we are frequently asked. We have included as much information as possible, however if you can’t find the answer to your query, please contact the PR Team - either Ricky Abate or Chelsey Lang.
When will I receive my press pass?
You will receive your unique registration number (URN) within the fortnight prior to the event. When you arrive on site, you will be required to enter this number into the badge registration terminal which will print your press pass.
What does my press pass entitle me to?
Your press pass entitles you to free entry to all six co-located events, IFSEC International, FIREX International, Safety & Health Expo, Facilities Show, Field Service Management Expo and Professional Clothing Show, free access to all of the seminar theatres and use of the Press and Speaker Lounge. In this exclusive area, you will be able to write up stories in a quiet space, access the internet for free and enjoy complimentary refreshments away from the hustle and bustle of the show floor.
How will I get the latest news updates from the show?
If you visit the news page for Safety & Health Expo you can find all the latest news. At the event, screens in the press office will display a ticker of the latest news to ensure you don’t miss any updates from the show floor. Following us on twitter @SHExpo will also ensure you don't miss a thing.
Can I bring members of the editorial team with me to the show?
All members of the press are welcome to attend free-of-charge. If you wish to bring colleagues with you, please ensure they register on the website or on site.
Where will the press office be?
The Press Office is located within the Press & Speaker Lounge in the Boulevard, if you have any difficulty locating please contact an information point.
Will press packs be available in hard copy or electronic format?
Press packs will be provided in electronic format only on our branded USB sticks. No hard copy press packs will be permitted for distribution in the press office.
Will there be internet access?
There will be designated wireless internet access in the press office. There will also desktop computers available that you are welcome to use.
Will the press office be manned?
The press office will be manned at all times by a member of staff and a PR staff member will be on hand for any questions throughout the day.
What time will the press office close?
The press office will be open between 10:00 and 17:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday and from 10:00 to 16:00 on Thursday.
Will refreshments be provided?
Refreshments will be provided in the press office for all registered members of the press.
How do I retrieve official show photos?
Can our publication bring our own photographer to the show?
You are welcome to bring your own photographer to the event(s). Please register your photographer as press either on the website or on site.
Will filming be permitted at the event?
Filming is permitted at the event. In order to do so, you will need to pre-register your videographer on the website and inform the Safety & Health Expo PR team you are intending to film as we need to inform ExCeL. Please also bring with you a risk assessment.

When will official visitor figures be available?
Will there be storage space for my luggage/laptop/equipment?
Cloakrooms are available at ExCeL to store any luggage you do not wish to carry around the show. Please do not leave your equipment or baggage unattended at any time, UBM cannot take responsibility for the security of these items. If you are bringing camera or filming equipment, please contact us for storage options.
How do I get to ExCeL?

Will there be car parking facilities?
Car parking is available on site. UBM does not take responsibility for car parking services and will not be able to reimburse anyone using the on-site car parking facilities.
