Sustainability at The Protection and Management Series:

We are committed continually improving the sustainability of our event, and aim to continue to be at the forefront of driving change within the events industry.

We are very excited to announce that both UBM EMEA’s offices and our UBM EMEA’s events within central Europe will be powered by renewable electricity.

We have achieved this through the purchasing of Renewable Energy Certificates for both our events and our offices electricity usage.

This means that our electricity usage will be carbon neutral, reducing our event carbon footprint by a staggering estimated 67%, and our offices carbon impact by 82% .

We know sustainability is of great importance to both ourselves and to all of our customers; making this choice helps us to clearly demonstrate our commitment to sustainability and to fighting climate change.

Here are some examples of how we are implementing sustainability:

By switching to renewable energy our electricity use is carbon neutral
Our feature areas are designed to create as little waste as possible, and all of our carpet is recycled after the event
We help to support our community’s through our Engineers of Tomorrow program, and through our support of Kids on the Green and the London Air ambulance
We have reduced the carbon impact of our printing by 28% by using recycled paper
