This workshop is for anyone, at any level, who wants to improve the impact of their public speaking to inspire change. This will be in an informal, yet hands-on, opportunity to transform the way you communicate whilst enjoying a light lunch.
The session dovetails with the themes explored within the earlier Keynote Theatre talk, drawing on insight from The Speakers’ Gym, Shirley Parsons, The Beyond HSEQ Steering Group, CBRE and Pick Everard along with veteran and Government advisor David Richmond – offering you the opportunity to get to grips with some key tools for change, helping to transform the way you communicate and influence others.
Come prepared with a practical communication challenge you’re wanting support with – this could be an upcoming presentation or looming public speaking opportunity. You’ll leave feeling confident and ready to take
on your challenge.

In our profession it is all about collaboration and using each other’s strengths to success. Instead of the usual speed dating style we will break the ice and meet interesting people in a short amount of time by searching the required talents for our team.
As with all games the persons finding all of them first will be rewarded with a little prize sponsored by the Women in Health and Safety group.
Drinks will be served and this facilitated networking session will be open to members of the Women in Health & Safety network as well as anyone else with an interest in supporting women to flourish in the health & safety profession.

About your host, Caroline Kannwischer: Caroline is a French-German graduated drilling engineer and passionate health & safety professional with diverse experiences across the energy landscape. Caroline is part of Boskalis’ international dredging SHE-Q Pool covering various projects in France and now supporting the dredging fleet. She is the Vice Chair of the IOSH Offshore Group as well as part of the Human Factors Technical Section Committee of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and received the SPE Regional Health, Safety, Environment Award for Europe - North Sea in 2020.
