Safety & Health Expo returns, after three years away, to London’s ExCeL from 17-19 May with a packed agenda of educational seminars, presentations, live case studies, networking opportunities and keynote speeches.
The Keynote Theatre will once again welcome some of the biggest names from the health and safety profession, along with inspirational speakers, documentary-maker, producer and writer Louis Theroux and Mandy Hickson, one of the first female pilots to serve on the front-line in a Tornado.
Opening the show in the Keynote Theatre will be IOSH President, Louise Hosking and President Elect, Lawrence Webb, with a session on ‘Harnessing the power of social sustainability’. The pair will explore how the health and safety profession can support organisations to shape sustainable business models by putting their people first.
Kicking off day two, author and former fighter pilot Mandy Hickson will take to the Keynote Theatre to share her ‘Lessons learned from serving in a front-line Tornado GR4’. Mandy’s session will provide a vivid insight into the leadership, teamwork and communication required to define and then realise specific goals in high-pressure situations.
On Thursday 19 May, you will have your chance to put your questions to film-maker Louis Theroux, in the Keynote Theatre, who will provide some surprising and insightful stories from his vast-ranging experience as a TV journalist.
Later that day, in the Operational Excellence Theatre, will begin will be an interactive workshop on a ‘Cultural approach to wellbeing’.
Heather Beach and her guests will look at how traditional health and safety skills help when it comes to organisational wellbeing.
