Dofygate provides a simple, cost effective way to control
vehicle movements or improve safety for pedestrians around a site.
The remote controlled solar powered gate is entirely self-contained with no wires to or between the gate posts. The normal working width of a Dofygate is 4.6 metres with a maximum width of 6.0 metres. Vehicle access within or into a property is easily controlled using our own opening options or can be linked into an existing hard wired system.
Our gate opens or closes in just 3.5 seconds so does not interfere with normal operations and can be operated from a vehicle using a fob, phone or keypad. This allows controlled entry to an area, allow a shovel driver to control access into his/her working area or provide safe crossing points across busy thorofares especially where heavy goods or plant may be operating.
Where the gate provides a safe crossing point control is exercised by the pedestrian. The Dofygate is normally open instead of normally closed and the pedestrian wishing to cross an internal road where heavy plant may be crossing operates the barrier which closes. Infra-red beams then look to see if the crossing is complete and the barrier opens.
We can fit to your pre-installed posts or the gate can be self-installed. Supplied fully assembled, Just screw the self-contained gate unit to a post and it works straight away. The carbon fibre bars are strong and a built in clutch means accidental contact will not destroy the gate. Extra bars are fitted to the standard 2 bar setup for increased visibility and a more complete barrier with a conventional gate look.
