Free yoga classes throughout the event
Newyou Yoga, which provides general open to all classes, workshops and tailored corporate classes will be holding Yoga sessions for our visitors and exhibitors throughout the shows, between 19 – 21 June 2018 at ExCeL London.
11am – 11.30am Daily
The Elevensies! This will focus on releasing the happy hormones for the day. Instead of reaching for that cup of tea/coffee and biscuit(s), stretch it out to release the endorphins.
The yoga session will concentrate on a slightly faster flow to get the energy going and some good shoulder, back and arm stretching postures.
3pm – 3.30pm -Daily
The Danger Zone! This is the last session of the day.
Sugar levels after lunch have dipped, legs are tired and minds may be slightly frazzled.
We want to reach for that quick sugar fix to get us over the final hurdle of the day.
What can we do at our desks at work to revitalise ourselves?
The yoga session will use chairs as props and it will focus on 'desk yoga'. Specific seated postures that can be taken away with you and used at any point during the day if you're feeling sluggish and heavy.
The session will close with a couple of minutes of silence and calming the mind from a busy day.
